Re: A while back I read an article about vortec heads
This old timer has one problem with the 305, the cost is the same for parts to rebuild. Now if you have the block and that is all you had to work with then by all means build it. BUT if you have to buy the block why spend the same ammount of money on a 305 as you will a 350 and wind up with that muc...

Re: stitch welding
Ahhh ok, I thought you were adding material to the frame and braceing of the car. Boxing in the frame and adding plates to A-arms is common thing for the grass roots racer to do. AKA thoses of us that cant afford to buy the nice tublar A-Arms and fancy braceing they sell =) But ya I'd go with Kabey ...

Wow, sorry. I couldnt even begin to tell you how to do that. You will need a wireing diagram, and LOTS of patients.

Re: please i need one "how to" install electric mirror
It should be fairly easy, the mirror is held on by 3 nuts that you can remove when you open the door. Take the 3 black nuts off that are on the oppsite side of the door as the mirror, pull the mirror out enough to unplug wireing harness and reinstall same way. Plug in new mirror, attach 3 nuts and go.

Re: 350 cid grief
Never "look" for a vacum leak. Take a can of starting fluid and spary around areas that could have one. I fixed a truck a guy was getin ready to junk because the intake gasket blew at the back of the engine right above ne of the runners. Couldnt see a thing but when I shot some starter flu...

Re: 350 cid grief
Dumb question, but have you checked for a vacum leak? suckin in more air than it should at idle then getin enough gas to not miss but run lean under throttle. I had run into this problem on other cars but not my Stro.
