Had the dog house off after dark.No arcing anywhere and wires all looked normal.Took it for a drive with dog house off getting the same results.Wiggled the connections too.Looked at the suggested wires behind the battery and couldn't find anything wrong.

Looking for your input.I think other than the battery cables/battery it's self, the only two things I can think of that could short out well enough to kill everything would be the coil or alt.Has anyone seen a Alt that charges well and would short out from time to time??.

Well it is now a month later and it hasn't acted up in about the same time. ](*,) So now what??.I am very sure come this winter it will leave me stranded in the yrs worse snow storm. This sucks.Tomorrow I will take pics of what I am changing out on this van.I have taken everyone's suggestions in to account and am address them.Still no codes and no obvious connection problems found.Damm it the worse about all of this is I do have what 10 yrs on this site and have seen it all and done some of it and this dumb bass van has me stumped. It is also keeping me from progress on the Ole Yellar project investing hundreds in to this D.D'er. )>)

Rule 6b:Pulled these parts last week and I don't think I gained anything but a new tune-up:

A tip I use for threading blind spark plugs using a short heater hose to start them.
