Neat trick. What did you pay for the spider?

Update for CPI spider users.

I had put that last injector in in early 2013. Late 2013 for a smog check, van wouldn't pass. We didn't have money for a new spider until this year, so in January I got a new spider and it passed the smog check.

In May it started running rough again. Water test showed #1 was not firing. Plug checked good. I pulled the intake and pulled the poppets out of the holes and cranked the engine. #1 was dry, all the others puffed out a fuel mist.
I still had the last injector spider since at one time replacing spiders, I didn't need a core, or neglected to return it. I pulled a hose from the old injector and replaced the current bad hose. I put it back in and when I cranked the engine this time, all 6 poppets were spraying. Buttoned the engine back together and now everything is good.
I suppose that I can do this 4 more times. After that, I will check the salvage yards. Usually the spiders are all gone, though, in the '95s. I replaced the fuel filter in January, thinking that it was crud from the tank, but maybe it is just poor quality replacement parts.
