any EFI tuners out there?

Post by Mr_Roboto »

These are the first set of data logs from driving around. I want to get some pointers on what I'm doing. These are pulled from my table, and from steady state points in time. I have an RPM, AFR and KPA here and am going to put what I think should be done. Am I on the right track?

18.4 AFR 1211 RPM 53.1 KPA-Definitely lean at this point. Need to throw in a fairly significant portion of fuel
15.40 AFR 1471 RPM 54.8 KPA-This is a transitional area, probably about right
14.5 AFR 1579 RPM 59.5 KPA-Am I too fat or too lean here?
13.70 AFR 1608 RPM 77.0 KPA-This is probably about right, maybe a hair richer
14.00 AFR 1697 RPM 37 KPA-This can probably be dropped down some, maybe 15:1-16:1?
12.90 AFR 1780 RPM 84.3 KPA
13.00 AFR 1813 RPM 84.4 KPA-lean this and the last one closer to 13.5:1?
15.00 AFR 1828 RPM 53.7 KPA-Probably pretty close to right?
14.4 AFR 1916 RPM 71.6 KPA-lean, probably needs to get richened up some?
14.9 AFR 1918 RPM 51.2 KPA-Probably a bit fat?
14.2 AFR 2024 RPM 68.5 KPA-probably about right
12.6 AFR 2043 RPM 86.5 KPA-about 1 AFR point rich?
12.7 AFR 2710 RPM 93 KPA-about 1 AFR point rich?
14.4 AFR 2834 RPM 41.1 KPA-probably too fat
14.9 AFR 2735 RPM 44.7 KPA-probably too fat
12.7 AFR 3416 RPM 95.6 KPA-about 1 AFR point rich?

I like 12.1-12.9:1 for power, i.e., high map. cold wide open plug reading refines #

I like very lean for high map cruise, if you hear ping, richen up a half# afr.

If emis is imp for you, 14.7 is # you need.
