Believe it or not, ZZ gets used more in the winter when it's too nasty for the Charger to come out. I love spinning all fours from a dead stop on a snowy hill in the winter while mere 2wd's slide all over the place :muhaha:

I have not been on here for a long while, Can I play too? I also have a TBI 350 in my 90 Astro, swaped it from another Astro a few years back. I've logged a little over 20,000 mi. on it so far. It was a daily for a while, but mostly used for towing and parts hauling. Oh and drifting of course. I suppose I should finally get it running right some day. In the other van this drivetrain got me 20-22 mpg at 80-85 on the interstate. It is and always has run stupid rich in my 90, getting 14-16 city and highway.

Hello all;

I am in the process of becoming a member of the V-8 club with my 91 Safari. I have a 305 ready to go in. Hopefully it will be in it's new home this coming week. Only thing I am concerned about is that it is bored 60 over. Hopefully it won't cause an overheating prob. I also rebuilt the 700R4.

The van is not ready to be on the road, but I am also working on the body, and hopefully by this coming spring, it will be road worthy! Not doing any mods to the body at this time, but do have a set of caddy tail lights for later installation.

Oh yeah, the van has over 300,000 miles on it, had the trans rebuilt twice before, and the 4.3 replaced once. Had the van since 93. I think it deserves to be resurrected after all that! :cheers:

Have a good one,

As soon as it starts and can be driven under it`s own V8 power, can you become a member of the V8 Club here.
