Loose Clading

Post by JHenry45 »

The lower cladding panel on the driver's door is loose and literally blowing in the breeze.

Would someone who has done this fix please tell me how to do it?

Thanks,

Loose it like a skirt.

Rivet some diamond plate on there instead.

I second that !! At least in the case of my lifted van, it made it look much more utility burly and less mini van

If you have questions on what it is like to remove let me know. It is a little time consuming to get all the adhesive off but a very attainable task. In my case, and it looks like we are the same color, there is no difference in paint color from fading. You really see no holes at all, there are a few holes left which i used a little black caulk to seal up so I don't get rust starting. Once it is off it just looks right.

Just my 2 cents
