Swivel seat base.

Post by arlon »

I got a swivel seat base for the passenger side that just fits between the factory base and seat. It now makes the seat too tall. I'm assuming the easiest way to solve this going to be to cut a few inches out of the sides of factory base and weld them together. If there is an easier solution, let me know. Vans an 04..

I made a new base from scratch using some 1/8" wall rectangular tubing and some angle stock, it was easier than trying to cut-down and re-weld the base frame.

I remember that now. I'll look into that angle!
