Does anyone know where to locate a grill guard for a 96 Astro?

This ad showed up in the Portland Oregon Craigs List.
He says he can make most anything, and has pictures of some nice stuff, but it is all custom, so it is not cheap.

Hi,

After studying grille guards from Various manufacturers to see what fits on my 2003 Astro, I determined that you need to just get a grille guard designed for Chevy pickup truck. Then you need to have custom 1/4" steel mounting adapters made at a metal fabricator which can connect to your from bumper frame mounts.

The bad news is that grille guards are heavy, about 75 lbs.

You may be better off in getting a new custom bumper first. Check on line for Journeys Off Road in Arizona. He makes a hidden winch tray for Astro.

I bought a grill guard from a similar-year Silverado truck, with the intention to add some brackets to make it fit on my rig. (Width and headlight-shape wise, it's perfect.)

I eventually decided I didn't want the weight on the front axle. Anyone looking for a "grill guard starter kit", let me know, I'll sell it cheap!
