Chevy & GMC Vans

My 96 Safari is missing the hood support retaining clip; prior owner used duct tape. I've searched online for one without luck. Anyone know where to find one? OEM or aftermarket; don't much care.

At hardware or electronic store you can get adhesive backed plastic cable retaining clips of various sizes. This might give temporary fix. Just leave the clip open so prop rod fits in side. Could even use 2 clips.

I will try my best to compare our vans (hood prop rod clip) to what Toyota has to offer. They look similar in my head.

I took one off a parts van, I will try and remember to match it up at work.

The computer clips worked like a charm. Thanks for the suggestion Astrophysics. 1 clip wouldn't hold it, but 2 did just fine.
