Well persistence pays off some times. After a lengthy internet battle with tire and wheel combos I had settled on the eagle 140 wheel and toyo open country a/t . As I had stated, the buy US deal was going to be 1500. This didn't sit well with me as I really do like to support local business. I printed off the internet statement, went to my local tire shop and explained my desire for their best deal. I had 3 guys punching numbers and making phone calls and this is what they came up with. There just happened to be only 4 eagle 140's left ( at some sort of warehouse ) They pressed for a good price and came in 10 dollars cheaper than the online store. They could not touch the price of the toyo's , but found a set of Cooper atr's for 185 each. Mounted, balanced and with full local warranty 1530.00 otd. Done deal and now just need to wait for better weather to bolt on the shine!

Nice. It's similar to the older Astro 8 spoke rally wheels.

Well I picked up the new wheels and tires today and I think they look great! I ordered the tires in a 235/65/17 Which are supposed to be the exact same size as my 235/75/15, but as you can see they appear to be much larger! oh no! I'm thinking there gonna rub. I realize that the van is weighing down the old tires, but The new ones look big.

I went out this morning and put a tape measure on the new tires and old tires. They both measure in at 29 inches, so all should be good! Just a trick of the eye I guess.

Don't forget that the old tire in your photo was loaded, and has more tread as well.

Looking forward to the glam shots ...

I put the new wheels/tires on the van today. I had to do a bunch more trimming as the new tires rubbed pretty bad, but all is clear now. Here are the glamour shots, Decals still gotta go!

So does the Rocky Mountain Edition include any customisations to the interior?

I really like that look, almost like the van should have come that way from the factory. I agree with the decal delete. =D>

I really don't know enough about these vans to give you a proper answer. It has 4 bucket seats, no keyless entry, no overhead display, but seems to have all other options. The headrest on the bucket seats also have the "Rocky mountain edition" logo. It has grey cloth interior that appears to me, not to be any different. I have tried an internet search on it, but really didn't come out any smarter (no surprise there hey).

Ahem, perhaps something was lost in translation, so let me rephrase that ...
