shopping for new wheels!

Post by jbird »

i'm interested in these, but i'm not 100% sure because of the +6.00mm offset
The backspacing looks good, and the width is what i need,Because i have a 4" bodydrop!

Oh ya...They get my vote. I'm seriously old school. With that offset they will rub everywhere. My wheels are 15x8 with 4" offset. I had to modify the front wheelwells a bunch. Only had to bend the edge of the rear wheelwells. \:D/

This Section shows me a 15x7 4.5"-3.75" Backspacing i would be good,But what i have come to see is that the 6.00mm offset migt become a prom.,so a spacer might have to be put on. viewtopic.php?f=12&t=44

Or these could work,0" offset,4" backspacing.

The reason you are getting no response is the 4" body drop...most of us regulars are not that low and worried about rubbing. To get the correct answer, you will need to pull whatever wheels you have on the van and measure the backspacing. You then need to calculate the difference between the old and new ones along with your tire of choice and figure out if they will work. Either way, if you throw on a 12" wide tire, they won't fit. :yawinkle:

Oh yea,,,smoothies,,always cool. Like the rallys also. In fact the old rallys have been on every car I've ever built excluding the Astro and thought long and hard before I bought something else.

You can't go wrong with these,,,ever,,a true classic.
