H3 wheels fitment

Post by bunce1260 »

Hello.

I've seen/read that people have put H3 wheels on their vans. I see there's some fitment issues, how do I get around the bore size difference and the lug length?

Experiences welcome.

Same as on the other forum. :D

Best option for the larger hub diameter is centering rings or hubcentric wheel adapters to match as I'd much prefer to have the wheels hub centered rather than trying to achieve with lug nuts.

Something like these 100mm to 78mm rings:

I don't know if the difference in wheel stud diameter 12x1.5 - 14x1.5 is going to matter or not. I've never seen it mentioned as being an issue on our vans with H3 wheels.

I'm surprised they didn't use 14mm wheel studs on the H3 to be honest.
