power steering box question

Post by Astroblaster »

Hello, would a worn steering box cause the van to wonder or make the steering wheel to shake going over little bumps? Everything has been replaced with moog parts except for the 245,000 mile coil springs. I am using gabriel shocks and I have a 350 in it. It is a 1989 two wheel drive. Thanks

If you drive illegally, they take your driver's license. If you're here illegally, they want to give you one :)

How does it shake? Like the wheel is turning out of your hands or the whole column moving around?

The whole column shakes slightly. Upon looking under the car the drivers side motor mount looks very worn.

Check the column's mounting hardware under the dash too.
