I just finished with the install of a "Boss BV8755B In-Dash 5.5" DVD/MP3/CD Touchpanel Widescreen Receiver with USB, SD Card, Bluetooth and Front Panel AUX Input" I got from amazon for around $190. It is a bit too deep to fit in the dash but it doesn't stick out much. If I ever take the dash out I will heat and bend in the ducting a bit so I can get it sitting flush. If it was flush it would be an almost exact fit for the hole in the dash.
Not bad I guess for an aftermarket radio. I would really like to get it flush in the dash but for now it is pretty good having bluetooth pairing so I can listen to my phone. I used a standard 1 din radio mounting kit and just drilled new holes to move the mounting position to the top of the opening.
New radio, almost 1.5 din
