Weird 2002 Astro AWD issues: electrical? Body control mod?
Greetings! The past few weeks my 2002 Astro has been acting up. The check engine light came on during a snow storm and it seem like the AWD drive was not working. I put it in shop (private mechanic) and he saw some error codes, but the van was working fine. I drove it few the last few weeks and this past week and one day the van would not start. The key would just turn and the lights would come on, but it would not turn over. I let it sit a while and tried a couple of times and it eventually started. It happened again this past weekend. I also noticed that the gear indicator console (electronic) is lagging behind the actual gear it is in. Also when putting the car in park, the door locks would automatically open, but now it is not. Any ideas? Thanks, gang.
