like the title says, my high speed relay went out.
my van is a 2000 safari
It started working intermittently last week (would kick off for a second or 2 then kick back on , work for a few minutes, then repeat)
Well, yesterday it finally went out completely, and its supposed to be 100+ for some while here, so I'd like to get it fixed.
First, where is it?
I looked in my FSM, but it was telling me I first needed to remove a panel in the right wheelwell area (I forget exactly what it was called). Unfortunately, it refers me to another book in the manual, which I cannot find right now (darn 3 piece manual).
Secondly, how do I replace it once I get to it?

Re: high speed relay went out
The AC relay is in the distribution box under the hood. Just pull straight up..........it will come right out. Whenever I visit the salvage yards I always pull all of the relays and fuses. It's nice to have a box full of extras.

Re: high speed relay went out
I thought that relay was for the AC compressor clutch?
I don't think I clarified it well in my first post. I have fan speeds 1 and 2 on the dash, but high no longer works.
I will try though (I have handfuls of relays so its no big deal)

Re: high speed relay went out
the high speed relay on the newer astro/safari's is a part of the blower resistor assy. not separate like they used to be.
