Looking for a wiring schematic

Post by astrojohn »

I have a 2000 Astro that has some electrical gremlins.
Someone on this post, had a complete wiring schematic. It was over 40 pages.
Unfortunately, I didn't copy all the pages, and now need to trace the heater motor circuit.
The person who had the schematic, had one for a 2003 and it has worked fine.
If you still have that schematic, I'd sure like to download all the pages I didn't.
Another question, is where is the heater fan motor, resistor board located?
Any help will be appreciated.

The resistor location is here:

If you PM me your email address, I can send you a wiring schematic. I think the Hanes manual has it too.

Heater fan won't work. I hotwired the motor, and it runs. It's either the switch, or the resistors for the speed.

Boy, some people are just too plain stupid.
Looking for why the heater didn't work, as I was checking the resistor for the heater fan, I found not the resistor gone, but the plug in for the resistor.
Upon finding the wire harness that goes to the resistor plug in, some dumb a** cut the plug in off.
Went to the junkyard, found a replacement, and spliced it in, and now I have a fan that works.
Does anyone know if a person can replace the light up bulb (s) in the radio?
Mine doesn't light up, as well as the switches for the rear A/C ,Heat, and wiper.
I'm sure I will have to replace the switches, as the light bulbs are soldered in.

Yes, the backlighting can be repaired. But only with the right bulbs. Soldering required.

Are you talking about the switch lights, or the radio lights?
I suppose I have to get them from a GM dealer too?
