I'll let you know how well the Range Rover seats fit after they arrive this week. I am hoping I'm not gonna have to do much welding. That and hopefully the wiring wont be to bad since they are power.
P.S. Eclipse seats don't fit, there tracks are to wide.

I still think the best option for those of you with the lower trim lines is to upgrade to LT seats... I can drive for hours with pure comfort, plus they have an adjustable headrest and the arm rests... I am currently on the look out for a set for my truck.

unfortunatly I dont have a good picture

My interior guy called me today and said he picked up a couple BMW seats in dark grey leather for Krispy, my blue van. Says they should go in no problem. Since he's doing the work it's certainly no problem for me, but I'll get back to you on what he had to do if there was any major finangling to do. Charging me $250 a piece for them, not sure what it'll come to installed.

Edit: just read the above post, and Recaro sounds familiar for the kind of seats he said BMW uses. So I think we're talking about the same thing.

I'm with you, Bro.

Do the power seats come with a height adjustment? I have a long torso and would like to sit lower so I can see the traffic light easier.

While I know I have a number of posts about Ole Yellar,as we all know builds like this do involve a number of different topics.

The posts before this one I have read.I have LT seats in my 1994 and find they don't move back far enough.

The thing I am looking for Ole Yellar is Lush. You know, the kind of seat you set in and go aaaaa.Gray in color.I could spend all day at my friend's junk yard to try out different seats and not find what I am talking about.I am looking for suggestions for the lush aspect. This is for a front seats only because the rear is a cargo area.

Thanks,

Gary

Yeah TB-I thought about those.Wonder how hard it would be to run a electric curcuit for powered seats.Currently I have nonpowered front seats.

super easy, I simply removed the astro seat from the bases, made a 14" x 14" plate, bolted the plate to the bases & then bolted the seats to the plates...the seats still retained the front/back adjustment, they all have the tilt forward option as well & I used the vw lapbelts on the rears.... I am trying to find the pics, but it's been a while since my astro went to the scrap yard in the sky....& I can't remember where the jpegs are......

I put these Black Leather 02 Eclipse seats in a while ago, welded them to the stock base with a flat plate of steel. I am however probably going to sell them shortly since I just picked up some 05 TSX Black leather heated seats. Just waiting for a warm day to tear into it.
