You could get a couple of inches by making yourself some custom brackets, but 6" would put the seat well behind the B-pillar, and thus render the seatbelt totally useless. Not sure I'd go that far back...

I've been doing some research...and found a lot of options, and a heck of an offer from these Guys! But I'm about as far away as geographically possible and still be in CONUS

We feel your legroom pain and want to liberate you!

robert

Thanks for submitting your model.
Its now officially in the database.
We want to add as many new models to the lineup that we can but we need to make sure the demand is there.

Two ways you can help / other options.

Our manufacturing facility is located in Los Angeles, CA. If you are willing to drop your car off for 3-5 days we will provide you with a free rental car and a free set of brackets at the end. Simply reply to this email for more info.
Some cars are just too rare / demand is too low for us to produce. Many of you ask if we would fabricate a custom solution for you. We do offer one off custom brackets and the cost is roughly $1500. Reply to this email for more info.
We get a ton of inquires so we can't respond to them all. Rest assured your model is now in the database. If you still feel like you really need to ask a question, just respond to this email, or you can find us on Facebook and we try and respond to all inquiries within 24hrs.

To more legroom,
Griff

LOL, $1500,,,

4 pcs of 1/4" x 1" bar stock as long as you want to go back. I used 4" each so a 36" bar and 4 short 5/16" bolts was maybe six bucks .

I went 3" back, 4" steel.
Each piece gets one tapped hole for a 5/16 bolt and another through hole for the same size bolt so maybe 3/8".
unbolt the slider track from the seat base then re-install with the extensions between.

I changed my seats since then so I built custom pedestals but I've seen those bits in my shop somewhere. If I see them again I'll grab a pic.
'93 Safari shorty, 350 swap
'05 Astro AWD, lifted, 6 liter, cammed, ported and programmed for fast.
'69 G10, straight 6, 3 onatree, jumped at me when I had a pocketful of cash looking for a spare astro. :)
