Question about "Rear Air"

Post by spudman »

I am wondering how the rear air works on the Astros. Does everything run off the front air ?? Just wondering how the cold air actually gets there. Sorry if this sounds silly.

There are no silly questions. Yes. The rear works off of the front. There are refrigerant lines that go to the rear to another evaporator. There is another blower in the rear that works from a switch on the dash.

My Safari is a '96. The rear air works fine.
