Rear heat pipes

The rear heat pipes from the engine to the core for my '03 have rotted out and I've recently come to learn that the part had been discontinued by GM. Third party manufacturing would seem to be equally unhelpful.

Anybody have any suggestions on where to source these or have they joined the ranks of the dodo and unicorn?

Thanks!

Boneyards will be the best chance. You might find them on a van that lead an easy life. I pulled fuel lines this way.

The other way would be to trim the lines back to good material, flare them, then clamp appropriate heat and pressure rated hose in place of the corroded line. I did this with the transmission cooler lines.

.. or just use rubber hose all the way.

Ya, my thoughts too. use rubber heater hose, secure it well, and protect it from rub spots.
