not enough heat
not enough heat
my 98 astro temp gauge always reads 130 150 degrees and although the heat is warm its not as hot as my other cars. Is a new thermostat in my future?

Re: not enough heat
I would get a 'second opinion' on what the factory gauge reads, my factory gauge also shows the temp range you mentioned, but my Ultra Gauge shows temps around 180 to 190.

Re: not enough heat
I too had a faulty gauge in my 98. It read much lower than actual. I had it read with a scanner at the time and found the engine to be right at the thermostat setting. If it isn't blowing nice hot air, you may need one. It is good maintenance to change them and the anti-freeze every once in a while.
