Are you relying on the temp gauge only or have you hooked up a mechanical gauge to verify your gauge is correct ?

Did this problem exist before the work (intake manifold gasket, thermostat and temp sender) or started after ?

Mrjames- before I replace the intake gaskets and thermostat and sender my van didn't have a thermostat in it so it ran cold until I started to climb a hill then it would climb up to the yellow. After all that work it would sit at an idle an over heat but if you started driving it would cool down. Soooo, I replaced my radiator and cap last night and it is
Running cooler then I've seen it run. I still have not drivin it enough up and down some hills and I'll know if it's working or not! And I believe my water pump is healthy because it is not leaking yet. I'm hopeful this radiator has solved my issue!!!

I believe the radiator has fixed my problem. I'm wondering why I keep flashing a code 32 though?

That is an EGR code. What engine do you have? There are two different styles of EGR valve. Check for the connections, and the vacuum lines being hooked up.

I've got the 4.3 vin z I think. I only say I think because I have recently learned its not the original engine but it is a 4.3 and it has the transmission out of a 93 Camero. I'll pull the dog house tomorrow but the EGR valve will be on the drivers Side under the dog house right?

Thanks,
Derek
