Overflow/w.shield washe tank needs removing to change bulbs.

Post by mystrovan »

Hi. Just migrated over from AS.com too. My first post on here.
Have a '98 Astro AWD.
Just changing the headlight bulbs since they are originals and seem dim, what the heck! Its the composite headlights, so I have to access from behind, or so I believe. I did the drivers side from behind.
Anyway I get to the passenger side and see the coolant reservoir and the windshield wash reservoir are in the way #-o That units held on by two black "things". Is there a trick to get these out to reuse? Or are they one use only, like christmas tree style thing.
I figured they are reusable in case you have to change the headlight bulbs. But I won't bet on that. :muhaha:

Theres a little black round piece int he centre of them. Pull up on that and it unlocks them and voila out they come. To reinstall put them in place and press the tab down.

Great, thanks. Thats what I like to hear! I'd had a glance at it before dark tonight and thought that it looked sort of like something to reuse. Thanks again.
