Been here a couple times before. Your fuel pump is no longer able to pressurize the fuel lines high enough to start the engine cold, but is still generating enough pressure to keep the engine running. Time to put in a new pump and fuel filter. ACDelco or Delphi if you are keeping the van longer than 6 months.

Thats what I thought thanks just sucks this will be the fifth time changing fuel pumps in vans. Miss the old days of just swaping on the motor. Cheers

Fifth time!?!?!?

How many miles are on it? What brand of pumps are you using? Are you regularly changing the fuel filter?

Oh, originally thought fifth pump in one van.

Let's see.....I've done five, in four vans.
