AWD and limited slip

Post by astroquery »

I would like some general information on the AWD design. The 97 AWD I just bought has no manufacturing code sticker. The questions are: Do all AWD Astros have limited slip in the rear? In the front? If it doesn't come standard can you put limited slip in the rear? the front?

Thanks.

The limited slip rear was optional on all AWD's. No limited slip for the front. The rear can be retrofitted if done correctly. Lots of reading on the different options here...time to start reading.
