can't find drain plug on 3.73 front differential please help

Post by drama »

I need to drain the fluid and the only things I see coming off the pumpkin at the fill plug and a breather. I don't really want to crack the pumpkin open to drain it. One person told me there is a square bolt on the passenger side. But I have searched everywhere, and nothing. Could someone please snap a photo, or please tell me how it is done?

You can't find it because there isn't one. You need to syphon out thu the fill hole. Get one of those little pumps for a 3/8 electric hand drill
And sorry that was me that had you looking. I totally missed the FRONT in your original post
