my 96 awd astro camper

before i joined i checked out this site and got some ideas for my camper build. started with a 1996 awd astro that had a conversion hightop and interior. i do not have many pics of the transformation, i always forgot to take them as i am working on projects but here are a few.
specs of camper...2" lift, 235/75-15 goodyear wrangler radials,hitch,4 30 watt solar panels connected to 4 deep cycle agm batteries mounted where spare tire was connected to wfco 3 stage converter with shore power hook up on outside of van,also have my alternator charging house batteries while driving with a battery isolater,5 gallon water jug with electric pump to sink,2.5 gallon grey water container, roof vent,lcd tv connected to ps2, installed led interior light above sink/cooking area, installed mini blinds and curtains for privacy

some exterior pics. i have 40 30watt solar panels on the roof, a roof vent and mounted spare on rear door, where the spare originally was i made a battery tray to hold my 4 agm deepcycle batteries i put a smittybil tawning on the side got it for cheap from a buddy

Nice! Very similar to my '96 Safari hi-top conversion... except mine is stock... and in pieces in my shop...

the bed is 4'x6' over the last week i changed the bed design to get more interior space when folded up
