I pulled the 305 SBC that a previous owner has swapped into my Toyota and am replacing it with a 2002 4.3
My question is in regards to the exhaust manifold, I know that the late 80's Astro manifolds are almost like block huggers and keep the exhaust flange very close to the block to get around the Toyota frame. I have found a "set" online with a 87 Left and 88 Right manifold. The pictures are not the greatest and the 87 looks like a round port and the 88 square, Did the in fact use round ports in 87 or are the pictures fooling me?
Here are the pictures.

Right
Next question, I have also found a set from a 99 van, did the manifolds hang close to the block in 99 same as the early ones?
Thanks for the help, and here is the yota they are going in.
