Astro Hood Lift

Post by completetech »

I know I have seen during my way to many of hours on here someone that had easily installed a set of struts that normally open and hold open rear lift gates in SUV's.

I for whatever reason can not find that thread and the parts list. I am trying to order some other items from RockAuto.com so I was hoping to add this as well so I could get that on my new Stro'

If someone has the list of parts or can help me not be an idiot with search terms... :D I'd really appreciate it.

check in my tread on the other site : on the first page all the links for the pics are messed up but if ou click on them they will still show... oh and one more thing that i forgot to mention when i did this is that i had to elongate the hole on the bottom because my hood was not closing properly too much tension because of the shock... so watch out for that and also DON'T slam the hood down when you close and open the hood while testing the fitment or you will dent it.. http://www.astrosafari.com/viewtopic.php?f=127&t=7191
