Can high beams be adjusted separately from low beams?

Post by dcarlson12 »

2002 Astro
My right low beam is aimed too high and it is aimed higher than the left low beam.
When I switch to high beams, left and right are at the same height.

Is there a way to adjust the right low beam that does not affect the high beam?

Thks,
Dwight

Hi,

You are probably too young to have heard the joke from the 1960's about British cars with Lucas electrics with poor quality control.

"Joseph Lucas, master of darkness.
Joe Lucas says," don't drive at night"

Just kidding.

Anyway, if you have the Astro trim with quad composite headlights the hi/low beam are separate modules I believe with small adjustment screws for each. May be T15 Or T20 Torx head fastener.

If you have dual headlight, I think hi/Lo beams are together. If low beam is malfunction as far as aiming, you may need new bulb.
