it's desolate out there for sure. My Dad and Grandad started taking me out there in the 70's and 80's we would make there caps stones for jewelry they made. lots of great minerals to gather but you have to earn it. Did you go on Havasu lake road?. Did you cross into AZ and go out Alamo lake road into the Bill Williams?

Sounds like a long but cool trip. Glad you're able to limp out without to much pain. Selection of bolts doesn't sound like a bad thing to carry in the tool bag.
