Our friend Cindy was videoing; while she's an animal on a mtn bike, she doesn't do dirt on 4 wheels, so...

Excellent videos! Just need some rock lights under the van for the night time runs so we can see it better.

Its hard to get an idea of scale until you see the van in the pics, going down that wash really showed how small the van looked... :cheers:

'05 Ford E350 6.0 diesel 4x4 Sportsmobile. Interior layout is the Sportsmobile RB50 . HE's got the E-lockers, Atlas II Tcase...we've gone on a lot of trips together.

Those are really awesome pix and videos! Makes me wish I had an AWD....and took vacations.

Do those roads on the side of the mountain become a living hell when it rains? Seems like mudslides and boulders would be soon to follow in a downpour.

Your van looks awesome.

I dont know about rainy conditions there...it always adds an extra element to backcountry travel, that's for sure. It was hell in Owyhee in the gumbo mud for everyone, luckily we were not in an area with cliffs while driving in the gumbo.
