Astroless

Post by NotDadsW41 »

Well that's it. As of today, I am Astroless.

Our 95 got traded today for a 1998 Olds 98 LS. I took a new job recently which requires a 65 mile commute. The Astro and the pickup were going to kill me on gas $$$.

Hoping for 30mpg with the Oldsmobile.

On a side note... Why does "Astro" show as being misspelled in the editor here? Of all the places that should be in the dictionary... :D :D :D

Tiss a sad day my friend, but all good Astro's eventually must be put out to pasture. How many miles did you have on the 95, was that the original tranny?

234K and yes original tranny.

Here's the kicker on that.... We bought it with 98K.

I never changed the fluid/filter in that sucker. I expected it to die shortly after we bought and I had plans for a stronger unit to replace it... But it just kept going and going....

It is actually your browser dictionary. Right click and add Astro to your dictionary and all should be good.
