Question On Idler Arms

Post by toney »

Hey I'm new to this forum and I just bought me a 2000 Astro and going thru inspection they say I need both front idler arms. I have an AWD and when I go to Rockauto they give a separate listing for the LF and RF idler arms for RWD Astro, but they only give one listing for the Front idler arm for AWD. Do the AWD Astro have 2 identical idler arms, one for each side? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Tony

Yes I believe they are symmetrical. Try to get ones with grease fittings. Moog Problem Solver is pretty good.

FYI, the painted black part in the photo is NOT Moog. That was some cheap noname offshore crap that you should AVOID because it lasted less than a year.
