just bought 89 safari slt touring
Only 87000 some km (roughly 59000 m). Pretty excited its mint interior. Few bugs like stiff seat mechanisms etc but to be expected. Outside is near perfect for age. A dent on the bumper and small dent on the door. Paint is in great shape. Its only my second vehicle. First was a 2001 windstar with 240+km. Drove the blue beast a bit tonight and i love it! Going to have to get used to rear wheel drive especially with winter coming up. But overall its awesome. Like driving a time machine! Haha. Only issue is it seems to rev really high especially at low speeds but eases down once i get going. Friend told me it could just because i'm basically sitting on the engine. Anyways glad to be here and am super stoked! Any tips, suggestions or whatever i might need to know please lay it on me! Thanks!

welcome to ASV.
If your van is suffering from high idle, check the PCV vacuum line that goes into the front of the throttle body. I had a 92 Astro with a high idle and that line coming loose was the cause.
