Need more stickies!

Post by Meterpig »

I really want this place to be a great (and even better) resource than all other sites.

Lack of useful stickies. For example, in the brake section(wait no brake section...doh!)-could there be a brake upgrade thread? In the v8 section, could there be a guide to simple v8 dropins? Not saying it is simple, but searching around is painful and time consuming. Honestly-I ended up at the "other" site to find what I needed.

In the transmission section-could there be a rebuild sticky?
What do you think of my quest to swap transfer cases to the venerable BW4472?

Brakes section: viewforum.php?f=65
Currently empty because the mod needs to move topics into it, but somewhere there are upgrade topics as well.

Plenty of V8 swap topics as well. Peter's big block is stickied. There's also a ramjet 350 one. If you see one you like, you can nominate it to become a sticky.

There's a great pictorial of lockdoc rebuilding his 4L60E in the kitchen somewhere, but I can't find it. We could sticky it, but I don't think a forum post alone is going to help anyone rebuild a transmission.

Sounds to me like you guys are volunteering to compile some stickies for us. Great! :D
