Looking for new Moderators

Post by LiftedAWDAstro »

Now that we have broken the forums into sub-forums, we need help in going through the threads and placing them into the proper forum. If you want to help, please let us know. The Admins will discuss your interest and make a decision quickly.

So far I have had timelessbeing and leadtrombone ask about being moderators.

The moderators' responsibilities include keeping the threads on topic, keeping the appropriate threads in the correct section, watching for harassment and threats against others and basically keeping your forum in line.

Don't forget all the prestige and top pay! :muhaha:

Vacation pay, health insurance, life insurance, pension and 401(k) company match. Basically any Mod gets the same benefits as the Admins! :muhaha: :-s

I'd love to help...but I just won't have the time for at least 6-7 mths of the year. Plus I doubt I even qualify...being a part-time business in this related field very soon...on principle alone, prolly not a good idea. (I can say all day long that I'd be impartial...but who's gonna buy it right? ;)

Cobra, your resume is submitted!

Loopie, if you can't commit to the job year round then it is probably best to not start. I don't know if you having a van related business would matter much. It's really only about keeping your forum clean and organized.

Here are the sections that do not have Moderators currently:

Engine General / Performance (SafariRob is a mod but he hasn't been on since October)
Non-stock Engine Swap
Chassis (Someone is a Mod but hasn't been on since August)
Buy / Sell / Trade (skippy is the Mod but also hasn't logged in since August)
I will PM these guys and let then know they will be removed as Mods. I will also PM the rest of the curent Mods to make sure they all want to keep doing it and to organize and clean up their forums.

We could also use Mods in some of the other sections to help out. Let us know what sections you are most interested in Modding.

I would be comfortable with any of the vacant sections, except for swaps. Which other ones need help?
