No it's a multi port Sts turbo has kits you put together. But if you look at how they do it you can craigslist or eBay a turbo and do it yourself for half the price

oh, well my van is TBI and I was just curious because in the past I was told that turboing a TBI engine is basically not worth that hassle to attempt

As long as you have an aluminum intake anything is possible. Easy 100 ponies

Sure, multiport FI would be better than TBI with or without a turbo, but...
Didnt the Cyclone / Typhoon 4.3 come turbocharged from factory , useing a TBI?
I believe it did, so I doubt it would be 'a waste of time' to turbo a TBI..

the Cyclone / Typhoon 4.3 did not have TBI it had Multi-Port Fuel Injection similar to the corvette engines of the same era.

Well, you know, I've never seen one first hand, I only know what I've read, and of course we all know, dont believe "everything" you read on the internet.

That being said. I wish I knew positivly what to believe....
Wikipedia describes the type of intake manifold as an LB4 intake manifold with a TBI.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GMC_Typhoon
but
here is a link that shows it as multiport FI... http://www.cardomain.com/ride/825685/1993-gmc-typhoon/ the photo below shows what is clearly not an LB4 manifold.

JohnyAWD, have you got any pix of the engine bay or the turbo setup?
We would all love to see those!

Yes it sure would!! (drooling)
We could call it a Safoon, or a Tystro or an abortion, Lol...
I suspect that the OP used a stock 1993-95 VIN W CPI manifold and modified it.
Hopefully, he can either confirm or deny that and maybe even show us pix .....
Wouldnt that be nice eh?
