Now thats a nice looking van JonnyAWD! It appears to be realistically, very functional.
I bet it's sweet to drive. Ever take it in the mountains or swamps ?? Hows it do?

97CargoCrawler: I see you were finally able to afford a couple lites.....Nice van! =D>
91 Astro EXT; never liked GM till i stumbled into this van. Free just for dragging it out of a field. Ran like a scalded cat, had 53K miles and completely rusted out brake lines. Been all over North America, lots of fire roads and no roads; fully loaded and towing constantly. Average 21 mpg. I recently (by accident) found out she now has 265,886.4 miles without so much as a tuneup, and only 1 oil change. And still no leaks. MAN I LOVE THIS VAN !

I added diamond plating all down the bottom half and painted over that with truck bed coating. No more dings from car doors. That's all real but the engine is shot and I'm debating what chassis it will sit on going forward. I was making some serious progress there for a while. I was ready to start the interior, bought all the appliances and then massive overheating issues started. Headgasket or something blew. I threw in the towel. The van pissed me off so I bought a '99 K3500 4x4 truck with V8 6.5L Turbo Diesel rated for 12K pounds of cargo to see if that's my next platform for the van. So far I like it, and maybe my van will be sittin on that someday.
