Hey 97Cargo, are those the HD spindles from Overland? How does it ride? Looks like the front tire track is wider than the rear, may just be the photo though. With the HD spindles are you running stock coils up front? My lift has the 2" subframe spacers and the HD coils up front and the 4" HD spring pack in the rear. The ride is kind of harsh.
The spindles are from Overland. The track width should be pretty close now that I have spacers on the back. Can't be too sure until I get my alignment done, the front wheels are too whacked to get a good measurent. When I failed at installing the 3" HD coils last time I gave up on those and went for the spindle lift up front instead. I wasn't looking forward to loosing any more teeth. But I figured the stock coils were probably worn out, and I wanted something a bit stiffer so I went with TRW/MOOG variable rate cargo coils. They were maybe 1" taller than stock (see my 4" spindle thread for pix). They seem to work great so far! Not harsh at all! But I can't coment too much on the ride yet because tonight is my first time in a month driving with rear shocks installed! I've been without since I put in the leafs and began a long and tedious shock relocation experiment. The rear shocks are now half done, but that's a story for later. Tonight I noticed my rear rubber brake hose that feeds the rear cylinders, the one that goes from the body to the axle, is stretched to its limit! :yikes: The shackles and leafs to blame. Gonna have to get a longer hose or add an extension. 8-[ Anyone else with HD leafs seen this?

Bill,
I see the excavator and trucks have been keepin' you up at night..... :peep:

and your getting some stuff done on the van. Are you getting the DHC rock rails painted or power coated? See you've got some tow points added also. The van is looking good

Hey Crawler where did you get your grille guard and how did you mount it. It looks sweet in the pics.

I'm hoping to do some experimenting with a snorkel kit soon. I know a lot of folks on this forum told me I would have to seal up some other components to wade through the deep stuff but I ain't skeerd! I'll post some pics when I figure it all out. :-k
