I installed this into my 93 Astro, drove 1/2 mile down the street and back. Worked great, locked and unlocked at all the right places.

I decided to rebuild my Diff and check things out. I changed out the side bearing shims and added new spider gears. Wow, that tightened things up for sure. Never did install this back in, thought I would one day, but never did.

Great shape. Original box, manual and go/no go gauge.

Power Trax #9207762805. $330 Shipped

Not really sure what years and diff this will fit, please search for compatibility for your vehicle.

Contact me by this post or email. I check for time/date stamp and respond to first in line. Second in line next, and so forth. No trades. Paypal good (send as Friend/Gift or add 3.8%). I will ship USPS and do a very good job of packing, from Wa State.

Cheers, Lastcat

I'll note that you posted this like a week after I put a lunchbox locker in my van. :(

Or....you put your locker in a week before I posted. \:D/

I hear ya, how it goes sometimes. How does it work for you?

I wanted the No-Slip, but due to a communication issue ended up with the Lock-Rite. It ratchets a bit on tight corners, and it's taking me a little time to get used to, but so far it seems good. I'm still wrapping up the break-in mileage, but I should be well-suited for some trail time for a trip I'm taking at end of September.

At least at the end of Sept, it's going to be a bit cooler. Should be a good trip.

Had one in my old Astro for years, worked good and helped out in the snow

Never did install this back in, thought I would one day, but never did...

Seems curious... that you bought it, installed it, "drove 1/2 mile down the street and back".. then never reinstalled it.

Doesn't it seem so odd? Conspiracy maybe? Poor taste in liquor?

Actually, and I'm glad you asked (lol). When I took off down the street for a test, I all heard was a few loud bangs and pops from under there. So, pulled the Powertrac out for a check. Put the old one back in and the loud pops were still there.

It was the Transfer Case Chain. I pulled that and rebuilt it with new seals, bearings, races, gears and a chain. Chain was slipping on the sprocket. All good now. So the PowerTrac I rather sell it to someone that needs it. Still up for sale too $320 shipped (oh, yes I know in my ad description it says $330, can't edit that post.)
