So, There is NO engine in the van but it has the complete custom 5 speed 4wd drivetrain and lift and tires etc. It just needs a 4.3 engine.
Originally the van was an 87 2wd with a factory T5 transmission.
The OEM 2wd T5 trans has been modified into a 4wd trans with an NP231C tcase and a mechanical speedo drive. Trans and T-Case were both overhauled professionally.
S10 ZR2 Leaf spring lift with overland shackles, upgraded newer torsion bars, Manually operated front S10 axle. The seats and body could use a lil TLC but are sound.
I never thought I would be offering up my baby, but, I'm broke, in debt, and dont have time or money to work on this plaything anymore. She needs a loving home .
I also have a complete working 2WD T5 Transmission and Tons of other Astro Parts including Edelbrock Manifolds, Hedman Hedders, 4bbl Carbs, Distributors and more.

Hi,
You should consider keeping it until summer. Just go to DMV and get a non op certificate and park it off the street. When the nice weather arrives, you may get the energy to get a used 4.3 -at pic your part.

Your fortunes will improve, and eventually you can fix it.

Just thinking,

AP

Thanks AP.
It is off the street, thats kinda the prob. I have 2 vans off the street in my driveway, plus 2 big boats and a car.
I dont drive or use any of them but the car, and it is getting expired next week and off the street too ! I only ride a motorcycle during the summer months.
My driveway is clogged, I dont use the crappy boats and both vans each need an engine. Would be really nice to downsize.
MDM, I dont NEED to sell but if the right person comes along, they will appreciate the value of it. Dickheads who just wanna low ball or part it out can simply GF.
If I had to choose 1 van for using as a commuter to work in the winter on snowy highways, I would rather fix & keep my other AWD van, so its engine gets fixed 1st.
If I win the lotto I can drop a SBC into the 4wd van someday , or sell it regardless. After 17 years of astrovans, I'm kinda just into bikes these days.
