So YES All sub-frames will bolt to ANY 2wd or Awd Astro or Safari body. Not all sub-frames are the same from year to year, as far as other minor...

Re: Transfer case slipping; van creeping in park

After reading thru this entire thread, I believe my Transfer case must be completely toast. Heres why: I thought I would be able to drive the 1990 van with only 1 driveshaft.... So, I removed the front driveshaft. Started up the engine, put in any gear the van will not move, engine just revs away. R...

Re: Is a body lift needed to fit an LS in to an AWD?

K, Thanks Matt. I had seen those before I'm sure. So I just ordered the oil pan extender and the AWD mounts from JTR, for a SBC conversion for my awd van. Seems to me i tried this before and later got an e-message that they no longer have these parts. Will wait n see I guess ;) Yup, as I suspected....

Re: 1995 Safari front differential-- NO DRAIN PLUG

Ya, Thats just stupid !

They keep makin things cheaper and less freindly to mechanics, in this disposable world.

My Vans all have a drainplug on the front and rear diffs. I like the ol girls.

What year did GM switch over to being so Friggin cheap ! 2003?

Ya, my thoughts too. use rubber heater hose, secure it well, and protect it from rub spots.

You should just give Atlas springs, or another spring shop in your area a call.
She listed out all the specs on those springs herein the thread. Make some calls.
