Re: Does your Van have a name?

My hoodlum friends call my van M-Van or Murder-Van because seven of us pack in it and go to the gun range. White van, tinted windows, filled with goons with guns!

My wife and I just call it "Van", not the van but the name "Van" like Van Morrison.

Can the front stock shocks handle 1inch of lift?

Just as the heading states, can the front stock shocks handle 1inch of lift. I want to turn my keys up 1inch but my shocks are somewhat new and dont want to replace them yet (or spend the money).

Thank you for your support.

No problem.

I did it without having to remove everything. Just crawled under, unbolted, dropped, re-bolt.

Re: It's now lifted!!!!

Looks AWESOME!!!! But, it could how the pic turned out but it looks like you mounted the bumper brackets on the 3inch body lift holes. I did that, and my bumper rolled up and didn't fit right at the corners. When I remounted the brackets, they one bolt hole worth hanging under the frame mount. I don...

Re: Alternator Sh@t the bed. Is there any upgrade?

Did you do the swap yet? I forgot what I used but I did mine Dec '08. When I get back home I can try looking up my parts paperwork. But I do think it was a bigger Chevy truck. Basically for my '97 Safari I compared the physical size (we have the alternator bracket thingy) and the mount screw holes....
