Ya, I used my parts lookup from work and the astrosafari shares the upper ctrl arm & BJ assembly with a ton of chevy and GMC pickups and the escalade and tahoes etc... And that assembly doesn't seem to change with the years, so a knuckle from a 95 with 5 studs will attach to the same p/n of arm/...

every time i see a pic of the engine bay and firewall, like that, I think holy cow,,,,
that just looks so naked without a clutch master cylinder sitting in that empty spot.... ;)

I'm interested to know as well since chev never actually produced an awd van before 1990, I wonder what kind of front axle if its 4wd or awd.

being that it only happens on the #2 setting, I would try taking the switch out and looking to replace it if its burnt.
