I smoothed out my firewall panel today, getting rid of some ugly holes, to make it more pleasing to the eye when I open the hood. This is from a late model Nissan Maxima. The idea of a long single perspex roof could be incorporated between the Astro`s "roof ribs" but it`s gonna take some metal fabrication to get it to seal from the elements.

When you fit another tranny, install the largest axillary trans cooler that you can find and a temperature gauge, because our trannies hate heat.
