Re: New fan clutch installed, way too loud.
old thread i ran across again today. update: the clutch installed by the AC shop all that time ago was bad, never worked correct. Upon returning the same shop for something else they mentioned the clutch was bad. I reminded them of their replacement a few years prior and they replaced it again for f...

Re: Driver and passenger windows go up very slowly, if at al
I've replaced both of mine. I spent $20 each, shipped from eBay and they have been working perfect for a few years now. As for replacing them, remove the door panel, drill out the rivets and screw in the new ones, very easy. My Dad has a Chevy car and I convinced him he could do it too and same resu...

body graphics, stickers and such
I've been wanting to do some body graphics for awhile. The large ones (wraps) are awesome, but so expensive. I keep seeing businesses, such as moto, surf & snow with very cool graphics. I've been looking on eBay for stickers, and found some pretty cool ones under $100. Anyone have some Astro gra...

Re: front and rear bump stop availability
I hope to never touch the bumpstops. I have a 2" body lift, plus Airbags in the back so more than likely they won't ever come into play. For $100+, I may not even replace them, at least the back ones.

Re: front and rear bump stop availability
Thanks for the lead! I hadn't expected $125 cost. At least this is something.
Since you sourced this already, I'm sure you were surprised at the limited selection.

front and rear bump stop availability
My rear bump stops have literally crumbled away and one of my front stops is chunked as well. I jumped online at Autonzone and found it difficult to find proper replacements. I then did more online research and was surprised to not find good substitutes. The rears are of good size compared to most a...

Re: Blower motor
I just replaced both my resister pack and blower motor and it didn't change my situation. It was working on high only, now nothing. I'm suspicious of the new resister pack, maybe a dud? In another thread it mentioned a fusible link as well as a grounding lug , where are those? any suggestions or tes...

Well, it was an easy swap, but it didn't fix my problem. Still no climate blower.

Climate Fan Control Repair
So thankful for this forum. After an A/C repair shopped asked for $400 to repair my non blowing climate control, I jumped over to here and found all I needed. I've now purchased a VDC replacement fan/blower and a Resister Pack , about $90 at AutoZone . I printed the thread on how to remove and repla...
