It's been a while, but I used the Overland HD springs and they were excellent. Really added stability the vans needs.
I'm pretty sure they only fit one way.
S10 springs are probably too soft

Re: Which oil should I use
some say using synthetic in a van that previously had conventional oil will cause oil leaks. Nonsense. So called "synthetic" oil will be just fine in your van. You don't need to worry. Searched high and low for oil specs. Should be under Service and Appearance Care > Checking Things Under...

Re: Which oil should I use
I've split off this question into a new topic since it's completely unrelated to your other one. Picking the right oil really couldn't be any easier. Open up your owners manual to the maintenance section and find the oil specification. Then all you have to do is buy oil that meets or exceeds that sp...

Re: How do I fix misfiring
Congrats on your purchase, and welcome to the forum. There are many, many causes for misfire. More investigation and information gathering is needed to narrow it down. The easiest way is to use a diagnostic scanner to monitor live data such as individual cylinder misfire counters, fuel trims, igniti...

I don't trust CR. The stuff they publish is ridiculous sometimes.
The Sprinter is more reliable and has a good reputation worldwide.

Re: no forward gears
No programming. How many miles on the van please? When is the last time the transmission was serviced? (new fluid + filter) Are you saying that the shift lever won't rotate into the 'D' position, or you mean you selected Drive, but the van won't move? Have you checked the level and condition of the ...

Re: Does the L96 V8 have AFM?
Thank you... except Wikipedia is reader created, it isn't an official source and most of the references are from magazine articles. While not perfect, wikipedia is a great resource for automotive info. I use it all the time. You would know if your engine had CD. It's very noticeable from sound and ...

Re: Does the L96 V8 have AFM?
Welcome to the forum. No. Thank goodness the vans never got cylinder deactivation. GM would probably loose all their fleet sales if they did. read the L96 was only used up to 2017. 2010–2020 Chevrolet Express/GMC Savana 2500/3500/4500 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/General_Motors_LS-based_small-block...
