Re: How do I know which compressor I have, and does it matte

I'm not sure what the difference is but a 96-05 used an HT6.

Re: Phantom Rebel V8 Swap

Nice! I am also a fan of the Chevy blue. They used blue on the V8's in the 80's and also on the inline 6 cylinders. I used valve covers from a Chevy full size van which allowed me to use the stock oil fill tube. http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b299/lockdoc/Dual%20exhaust/V8intake001.jpg http://i21...

Re: body kit for a shorty

They literally added 12 inches to the rear of the van on the extended models. They even used the same floor and welded in a 12 inch part. Don't know if it changed later but you could actually see where it was welded in.

Re: Ebay/Paypal complaints

I'm thinking it is all on your end. I have no problems. Including contacting them. And Paypal is not the only thing you can use to pay. It is up to the seller and what THEY prefer. Ebay and Paypal have made my life much easier. Dare I say it has enhanced my life?

Re: V8 350 conversion in Progress

V8 or V6. Same water pump. You just need a reverse rotation. Example: 94 Chevy 1500 pick up with 5.7 = ACDELCO Part # 10085760 Water Pump (Standard); Cast Iron, Reverse Rotation, 2 Outlets 94 G20 Chevy van with 5.7 = ACDELCO Part # 10085760 Water Pump (Standard); Cast Iron, Reverse Rotation, 2 Outle...

Re: V8 350 conversion in Progress

The difference is not whether it is a V8 or V6. You need a reverse rotation pump in order to use your existing setup. Just about every late model V6 or V8 used them.

The code you gave, BHRD, is the original V6 prom. So there is your first problem.

Short the sensor wire to ground, and turn on ignition. Gauge should register max temp. If not, wiring is faulty. The sensor for the gauge and the sensor for the ECM are two different things. That method wouldn't work. The temp gauge sensor is in the head and the other is by the thermostat housing. ...

It was still around when I sold it. But I never used it. I'm not even sure if it was setup for the 8 lug wheels. The pics above were when it had 5 lug wheels.
